About the work
I am inspired by my heritage and the day to day. As I carve into the wax or metal, I follow my grandfather through ornate gateways of temple complexes and collect small treasures from the beaches of New Jersey. Ginkgo trees grow golden outside my NYC apartment, and when their fruit falls, I remember gathering them with my Grandmother. My jewelry is derived from culture, heritage, and our immediate world.
